Cambridge conjures instant images to mind; the breathtaking view of King’s College Chapel from across the river, carpets of daffodils along the Backs of the colleges in springtime, thousands of students cycling frantically to lectures, lazy summer punting on the River Cam.

The City is surrounded on all sides by heritage villages and towns and ancient monuments, all within easy travelling distance.
More than 3.5 million visitors come to Cambridge every year to enjoy the delights of the historic city itself, as well as using it as an ideal base for exploring some of the gentlest and unspoiled countryside in England.
Slightly further afield are the glorious Suffolk wool towns and villages, such as Lavenham and Long Melford, largely undisturbed since the Middle Ages.
